NEW SPINBRUSH® SONIC BRUSHES DELIVER SUPERIOR CLEAN AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE
SpinBrush® battery-powered toothbrushes introduce sonic technology at an affordable price with their new SpinBrush® Pro Clean Sonic and SpinBrush® Pro Whitening Sonic toothbrushes. These are one of the first toothbrushes on the market to offer advanced sonic clean without the price tag to go along with it.
Defined by the high rate of speed at which their brush head vibrates, the new SpinBrush® Sonic delivers up to 16,000 brush strokes per minute. They offer dynamic fluid action to help dislodge food and remove plaque between the teeth and in areas where a manual brush may not reach, providing a clinically proven way to effectively remove plaque.
SpinBrush® Pro Clean Sonic is clinically proven to remove up to 95% of plaque in hard-to-reach places. It also offers a multi-functional head design for superior cleaning that includes angled, multi-level, high density bristles, as well as a profiled slim head.
SpinBrush® Pro Whitening Sonic has specialized whitening bristles that help remove stains and whiten teeth.
The new brushes have a suggested retail price of $14.99, putting sonic technology within reach for more consumers. Available in 4 metallic colors (red, orange, blue and green), the new brushes have a sleek, clean form with economical replacement heads available. The new SpinBrush® Sonic brushes arrive in stores in May 2009. For more information visit www.spinbrush.com.

How to Make Hummus
I have heard so much about Hummus and, I have to tell you, I didn't know what it was. Being one who loves to cook, I just had to research it and see what it's all about. I was so surprised to learn that this popular dish is kind of a "souped up" bean dip. Of course, garbanzo beans are not what you would typically use for a bean dip but the "concept" it to use a bean base and add "stuff" to make it into a thick, rich dip or filler. So, in case you are like me and lost as to what it is or how to make it, here's the recipe:
1 can (15 oz) Progresso® chick peas (garbanzo beans), drained, reserving 1/3 cup liquid
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 cup sesame seed
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 teaspoon salt
Chopped fresh parsley
Pita bread wedges, crackers or raw vegetables, for dipping, if desired
1. Place beans, reserved bean liquid, lemon juice, sesame seed, garlic and salt in blender or food processor. Cover and blend on high speed, stopping blender occasionally to scrape sides if necessary, until uniform consistency.
2. Spoon dip into serving dish. Sprinkle with parsley. Serve with pita bread wedges.
